One Year for Lisa!

Today, February 23rd, is the One Year Surgiversary for our friend Lisa H. (Lisa Friedman Hunt). Many of us first met Lisa more than a year ago up in Easton at Liz Radlbeck's Cooking Class/Support Group meeting. She was so new and all in wonder just to be around us. You all know the feeling. That feeling of camaraderie and oneness. She's become part of our Lehigh Valley connection with our beloved crew up north and she's made it to Barix 1st Saturday's as well. She's here on these boards daily willing to share her good and bad with all of you but also support you in yours'. She may not be where she wants to be yet but she's come a long way in 12 months. I think she's doing GREAT!

Please join me in congratulating and celebrating Lisa's major milestone.

Lisa you amazed us all when you showed up at my house just a few days post-op sipping away. You have done a teriffic job despite some major hurdles over teh last year. I am happy to call you my friend and be there to see your continued successing!

Thanks for opening your home and welcoming us all in.  I tried to help that day and nobody would let me get up.. unless it was to walk walk walk.. you made sure I had my crystal light and sipped away.  Everyone made me feel so welcome.

Thanks for thinking of ME as an inspiration. Sometimes I really have a hard time believing that I can be an inspiration to anyone, let alone someone who is as far out as you are.  

Hopefully this next year will have less trials and more successing!
