speaking of TMI
So, since we are all so close and we can talk about anything... here goes. We haven't had a poop post in awhile.
Saturday at Liz's we were talking about poop and regularity and the things we are taking to get things moving. I said with confidence something along the lines of "Oh, I take Colace every night and have no problems going every day". Well, I noticed yesterday that my poop is different this week then it was last week. Then, I thought about it and realized why. I have NOT had any peanut butter in 4 days!!!
Yes, I have been going, but it is definitely not as "easy", nor the same consistency, as it was with all that extra fat in my diet. The Colace may not be enough. I'll have to wait and see.
Just thought I'd share that tidbit.. maybe that was my form of dumping???

7am....and we're talking poop. Boy how I love this place....
My opinion and I could be totally wrong... if you aren't eating the peanut butter and that was consistently part of your diet before, the oil in the peanut butter could contribute to that maybe. Could be wrong, I dunno... I'm tired and haven't had my second cup of coffee yet. It's getting cold though, so I better pick up the pace...

LOL how did I miss that conversation?!
I think that the PB could certainly contribute to that. Try a couple of prunes every day, I buy those sun sweet ones that are individually wrapped in the canister, there is no added sugar. I eat 2-3 a day (but I am extra constipated from being pregnant)
Good luck!

I am betting that the extra oil/fat in the peanut butter was keeping things "moving" good. I tried colace, no help. Tried prunes, I was eating 3-4 every night, no help. Was to the point that I was taking Dulcolax every 4-5 days just so I could go at all. Tried a bunch of other stuff too. Smooth Moove tea was one. Anyhow, I starting eating 1/2 cup of Kashi granola with a 1/2 cup of SF FF yogurt every morning. So far through two boxes of granola it has worked like a charm. Tried Grape Nuts too couldn't eat them. Could only eat about 1/4 of a cup and they made me miserable, like too full, pains all over my abdomen, kind of miserable. Now it takes me an hour or so to eat that granola and yogurt cause I chew forever, but it is such a relief not to be well "full of it" so to speak. Hope that helps. I just had to do alot of experimenting until I found the magic combination.
