help figuring out NUT
ok I have tried myself been to the recipe calculator sites and I am frustrated now, so wondering if someone can help me figure out what the Nut on this is..

its for a southwestern Chipolte dip( I had 1 tbs at a party today) the prepackaged says this info
serving size 1.5 G 40 servings
Calories 5
total fat 0g
sodium 10
total carb 1g
sugar 0g
protein0g
here is the directions for dip that makes 20 servings
4tbs of southwest dip mix
8oz of light sour cream
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup lowfat chedder cheese
i apprec iate who ever helps me I feel dumb LOL.. but I am trying to be accountable for every morsel that goes into my mouth..

I think what you're saying is that you want to know what the stats are for 4 tbs of the dip -- is that right? It would be difficult to figure this out, actually, because the nutritional info is in grams (weight) and you want to know about tablespoons (volume). So unless the package says what volume those grams are equivalent to, I don't know how you can figure this out.
Well, you can kinda get at it this way:
1. The package says 40 servings and you have the nutrition for that.
2. The recipe is for 20 servings (each 1 tbsp, i assume?)...
I assume you used half of the dip package to make the 20 serving size, so that would be the nutrition info you listed x 20.
Then you'd add in the nutrition for the other ingredients as listed, and you'd have a pretty good approximation of the info.
There's usually a way around the weight v. volume dilemma by just calcing the nutritional value for the weighted item and adding it to the nutrition value of the volume items.
