Thank you for all of your support and well-wishes! I'm home

Hey everyone! I'm home from the hospital and doing well. Thanks to everyone who sent their well-wishes, kind words, thoughts and prayers. The support I have found on this board and this site means more than you know! I'm still in a little pain but i'm trying to refrain from the roxicet. Heating pads and tylenol seem to help. I'll be restricted for the next few weeks so no more training for that half marathon in May, but I'll get back on track. I'm on purees until the 4th with the follow up with my surgeon (which also happens to be my year follow up appointment).
Thanks again to everyone, especially Lisa H for keeping everyone updated and checking up on me!

Oh - sooooo glad to hear you are home and are doing well!

If you do need to take the narcs for pain - be sure to include some colace or other stool softener to combat constipation prior to it starting!

Jena, its Tracy, the nurse from Magee.  Glad to see you are home and feeling better!  I have been a lurker on here for months and months but I'm glad that I got to meet you...I actually have read your blog before haha.  Thanks for the good tips and I will be coming on here more often to check things out.
