Susan B. Colman Walk

Is there any bariatric clubs doing the walk on Oct 15. I think it would be nice to join a group for the walk.

I've wondered about this - the October walk in Philly is the 3 day event. There is also a one day Race for the Cure on Sunday, May 9.

The 3 day has a hefty pledge requirement to participate. Informational meetings in the Philly ara are starting up soon, or you can request an info packet. Not sure if there is a minimum for the race.

I'm not sure about my commitment to do the 3 day....honestly, isn't it kind of amazing to even be able to consider it????

When I was heavy these kinds of walks or any kinds of walks would be out of the question but now I am eager and willing to participate in event walks and I love it.

I was another one who had some fague interest in it.  I am going to do some research, possibly attend one of the sessions, or at least request a packet.

We'll see.

And yes, I agree - years ago that was so far off my radar it wasn't even funny.  Considering now it's a glimmer....it's totally astounding!
