***Fantastic Friday Roll Call***
Hi Pam and all of PA - I am starting to feel that anxiety again....not sure how to make it go away. Already this morning had to run to my step-dad's becuase Molly and Emily slept there last night due to my having yet another meeting that I HAD to go to - it was with the Israel people - As much as I enjoy seeing them, I will be sooooo happy when this program is over in May! So, I had to run over there to drop off school clothes for Emily, and medicine for Molly, why didn't they have it you ask....funny, I am asking the SAME damn thing! Lets just say that I was NOT the parent who was home last night to make sure things got done. nuff said there....so instead, I got to be the parent who rushed out of the house this morning, drop off things and then rush over to work, all the while the gas light went on and I tried to ignore it! (So far so good, we shall see if ignoring it was a mistake this afternoon!)
So after work I rush home to get Emily packed for a girl scout trip this weekend, do I know what time she is being picked up?!?! No - again, because I was NOT the parent who was in charge last night to get that information....then I have to run out at 4 to pick up Molly from school, run back home and get her packed for same camping trip. Again, having NO idea what time they are going to leave! OY!
However, after that chaos, I will, with any luck, swim out my frustrations and enjoy the quiet that is the pool. Then tonight is MINE! I will go home, make some popcorn to take with me to my girls game of Mah Jongg!!!!! I really need this - Larry, BTW - the "other" parent - is working tonight - and this time I am glad to have the house to myself when I get home....trying not to lose my temper!
Tomorrow morning I have to go to services as my third graders from Hebrew school are running the service and as their educator I get to be there. However, tomorrow afternoon is quiet as I get ready for a BIG Bat Mitzvah for the daughter of a very good friend of mine - whose husband died suddenly two years ago yesterday at the age of 40. Should be a myraid of emotions, however, we will ALL be together to celebrate the child and her accomplishments. Sunday is back to Hebrew School and then not so sure about the afternoon - supposed to Scrap all the way up past doylestown, or head into Reading for a birthday gathering for the daughter of another good friend. They were just down last week for our daughter's b-day party....so....still not sure about Sunday!
Anyway - I hope you all have a nice WARM Friday - get out the sunscreen and flip-flops, its gonna be a warm weekend! :)

Wow, wow, wow... everyone has such a busy weekend planned. I'm working till 6pm today and then parenting this evening. Erin is going out to dinner with some friends, so I am trying to think of something fun to do with Ryleigh and Hannah. Tomorrow we are doing some much needed work around our house because we have someone to watch the girls for us for a while. Unfortunately, it conflicts with Liz's cooking class. Maybe next month? Not sure what tomorrow night holds, but Sunday I am working my Paramedic job 11a-11p.
That's about all for me. Just trying to make it through the day....9 more hours to go..........
Have a great one everybody...

I'm here to pledge another 24 hours of sobriety and sane eating. It seems though that every day I eat SOMETHING that I didn't plan to and I find that frustrating. Today I am working, going home to make soup for dinner, and then visiting with my Celebrate Recovery sponsor who I haven't seen for 2 weeks. Tomorrow I have an appointment at Spatini for a pedicure and foot massage. I'm using one of the gift cards I received for my 50th birthday from my wonderful family.
Blessings, Jill

Hello, Everyone...
Pam, I need to say "Thank you" for the work you do. I know it's your job and you get paid and all, but your willingness to cheerfully work night shifts doing such important work has made a difference in many people's lives. A few years ago, we had a series of very scary medical incidents with my husband that involved rushing him to the hospital ER usually in the middle of the night - people like you helped us through it and made what was a very scary and horrifying experience much more bearable. I can't imagine what it would have felt like to arrive at the ER and not have someone calm and knowledgeable immediately available and able to assess him and direct him. So thank you.
Today has me at wor****il 2 or 3, then driving up to Hellertown-ish area to drop off all the booth equipment, then back home for dinner with hubby and daughter and daughter's bfriend. Hopefully some jewelry work tonight - never got to it last night due to other paperwork things that had to get done for the kitchen.
I'm looking forward to cooking class tomorrow at Liz's! Hope to see many of you there.
