Just had to share I went to my PCP today for her to check blood pressure, well I didnt tell her I havent taken my med in almost 2 weeks, due to feeling weak.. well the nurse takes it and its 128/84 .. WOOO HOO.. my pcp comes in and she is sooo excited she is like look at your blood pressure and then I tell her the best part I havent even taken my meds...

So a month after surgery I no longer need my BP meds, I have to go back in 3 mths and check it weekly at home just in case..

I am also down another 7lbs since Feb 2nd.. so that is a total of 37 lbs.. in a lil over a month .. and of course I am so hard on myself I don't think that is enough ....

Wow ! How great is that. No BP meds. You are on the road girl. And 37 lbs. in ONE month. That ain't nothing to shabby there. That is MORE than 1 lb a day. That is great. Congratulate yourself. Good for you. Keep up the great work.

FANTASTIC news!

Uh...almost 9 pounds a freaking week?  Start carrying around 8 bags of flour from the grocery store and see if that is enough, because that is basically what you have lost thus far!  It is GREAT

It was a trick I used when I was feeling "down" about my numbers not being "down" enough.

Did you do measurements before surgery?  If not...do them now and monthly - they will also help when the scale doesn't move, but your inches will!
