good morning Trish and all of PA  Trish - I am so glad to hear some joy in your post!  Good luck at 440 today and I hope they tell you what you want to hear!

Nicole - soooo excited for you and your new beginnings!  Hope it a pleasant day!

Today has me at school...AGAIN....Wow - this working two days in a row thing is strange! :)  (It's only been three weeks since I worked two days in a row! - with many thanks to my anxiety AND thewonderful MOTHER NATURE!)  I am going right from work to the pool - sorry Trish - not at Bally's - but if you want to join me at Frankford and Grant - I LOVE the pool there!.  From the pool I have to go to a family therapy appointment and then tonight to BARIX!  Can't wait - I miss all your hugs soooo much! Looking forward to seeing all who are able to make it!  With any luck I WON'T smell like chlorine - but there will be no make-up and most likely still a wet head from the shower....Are you still excited about seeing ME tonight?! :)

I worked all day yesterday and felt really good about it - no anxieties - Kids were a little challenging last night, but only in their statements, not in their behavior, and it was good to have those kinds of conversations with 12 and 13 year olds.  They are trying to find their way and I am glad to be part of that journey with them!

I hope you all have a nice Wednesday!

Good morning all - I'm at work - nothing new there. Yesterday I was swamped but it was a good thing since it kept my mind off my worries.

Went to see mom at the hospital after work - thank goodness she had such a terrific roommate - but I think she's being discharged today - hopefully mom will get another upbeat person, because my mom can be very negative and down at times. Her breathing isn't much better but she's starting to look better and is hungry, so those are good signs. If they can't get her breathing up today then tomorrow they are going to probe her left lung to see if they can find out what's going on down there. I know that won't be a pleasant experience for her but it has to be done.

Other than that not much new in my life - work, hospital, home, eat, veg...I feel like such a slug right now - between the weather and my mom's situation I am really in a doldrum. Somebody needs to slap me and yell SNAP OUT OF IT!!

I'm here to pledge another day of sobriety and sane eating.

Trish, I used to belong to LA Fitness and loved using their pool.  Never did visit the Bally's.

Kathy, prayers going up for you and your mom.

Nicole, good luck with the new job!  That's exciting!

Blessings, Jill

Checking in late, but am at least checking in.

Busy night last night - ran to the gym after work and got in a great hour-long workout called "Interval Fight Training."  It's the first time I've done it and it kicked my butt big-time, but was fun!  It was like an intensive martial arts workout (kicking and punching, mostly) combined with fast music so you were ALWAYS moving and finishing up with 10 minutes of various ab exercises.  I literally had to leverage my body out of bed this morning and the legs are killing me even now!  Wow!

Work is really busy right now, and i'm trying to get my tax info together, plus the kitchen cabinets are scheduled for delivery tomorrow and I have gallery orders I need to fill.  So I'm swamped!

But I'm going to the Barix meeting tonight - support is a really high priority on my list - keeps me sane and on track.
