did you try them with water or milk? Sometimes they are not good with water, but taste good with milk.  I personally ONLY drink my shakes with milk.  I will usually add ice to them to make them more like a milk shake.  OR for something like chocolate you can warm it up and have it like hot chocolate.

Hi there,
I like the Max protein protein powder they sell those at GNC I like the chocolate and Cookies N Cream. I also like the Any Whey since it's unflavored I use it mostly to cook with and add it to soups and such. I hope that helps you.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Early on I could only eat them frozen.  I'd mix it up and freeze.  Take out about 20 minutes then eat with a spoon --- like an icy.

Now I only like them warm.  I use Inspire Brand from bariatric eating but have also used the Body Fortress you can get at Walmart or Target.  I mix with cold water til smooth then add ho****er from the tea kettle.  It ends up warm.  I mix 1 scoop with 16oz of water vs. the end on the directions.  This morning it was hot chocolate, some mornings cinnamon cappacino flavor and others caramel latte . . . .  If I want mocha I add a tsp of instant decaf coffee and mix with the chocolate.  I look forward to them.

Just curious which GNC you found the Max Protein.  I am using Slim Fast High Protein and really want to change it with something different.  I see eggface uses that in everything, so I was hoping to find it some place local.  Is it really good?

Ok - so what have you tried DOING with them so far?  They're really versatile - you can mix them with nonfat milk, evaporated nonfat milk (a little thicker), greek yogurt... make pudding... add milk and frozen fruit to make a really delicious thick milkshake (that you can freeze into "ice cream")...

Have you looked at the recipes for protein shakes that I had posted a while ago?  bariatriceating.com has a bunch and the barix connection store has a ton... http://www.barixclinicsstore.com/recipe_main.html

I have used Body Fortress Whey chocolate which is easy to find at any Wal-Mart and Unjury unflavored. I really like both of these. But when making the chocolate I always use skim milk. I couldn't get it down with water and you can use yogart and make a smoothie. Best of luck!

I use the chocolate Max Protein and mix with skim mil**** cubes and SF Da Vinci syrups.  If you buy 2, you get 1 free at GNC.  Last time I was near Philadelphia, I picked up three 5-lb containers.  I had a really difficult time tolerating protein drinks until a friend, Lois, turned me on to Max protein.  I have a variety of Da Vinci syrups I mix with it.  This morning for breakfast, I had a chocolate Max protein with 3 pumps of Da Vinci Praline - yummy.  It was like a milkshake.  Good luck finding what works for you.
