* Freaking Friday Finally Roll call
Good Morning,
I am majorly bummed today. I wanted to go to my crack of dawn AA meeting, but could not because I had no able bodied people help me shovel my car out yesterday. Usually there are high school boys that walk along my street with shovels, but none were around Thursday. I gave away my shovel when I was diagnosed with the herniated discs, so I would not be tempted to do it myself. HELP!!!!!!! I am a prisoner of the snow!!!!!
Anywho, my plans depend on getting my car dug out.
Plan A: If the car is out: I will head to my doctor's office to get paperwork filled out for work, and then hit a grocery store for bread, which I ran out of, and something edible for the weekend. Then, I will go to my AA meeting this evening. I can walk to that.
Plan B: If the car does not get dug out: I will sit here and crochet/knit/organize, etc, like I have for the past week, and then go to my AA meeting tonight.
Anyone live in Lower Bucks County want to earn $20. That is what I am paying to dig my car out. It takes the high school boys 10 minutes for 2 of them to get me out. Unfortunately, I think they all have school today.

I am enjoying a lil snow-cation with schools being closed still due to the snow!! Yay!
Today has me just puttering around the house..finishing up some laundry..straightening up the house...and generally relaxing. That is pretty much the extent of my day...I will probablly venture out to the drugstore to pick ups some vitamins. and girly stuff! That is it for me!

Good morning Karen and everyone - I hoep you slept well after the crazy day you had yesterday. And I also hope you are enjoying all the emails from those of us who are responding to this thread!
No work again for me today. aaaaahhhhhh...such is the life of a snowed in educator! Not sure about the plans today - I love that! I still have many things that need to be done - but I am SOOOO good at that procrastinating thing! And since I have off on Monday too........
I do know one thing - Hubby and I scheduled a date for this evening and we are GOING! (Well, I think so - he hasn't been home since Wednesday afternoon and we are still not sure how he is getting home this morning....)But, I WANT to go out with him. We are supposed to be seeing Avatar. Also, my daughter's 12th birthday is Tuesday and we need to pick out her phone - oy - I can't believe she is going to be 12, one year from today til the Bat Mitzvah! Tomorrow is her Birthday Party - a Mall scavenger hunt in the afternoon - if anyone is around and wants to head over to Neshaminy mall, we will be there between 2 and 4:30...doesn't it sound exciting?!?! No Hebrew school on Sunday and Larry is off all weekend. I am sure we will try to kill each other at some point, however, I will try to do my best to love the fact that he is home! :)

This morning I'm missing my old friend, ibuprofen. I didn't realize till I got out of bed how sore I am from shoveling yesterday!
We have no plans today. We have Paul's son now for the next week (his mom is away on vacation). He's playing video games this morning, and wants to go skiing sometime this weekend. We enjoy these quiet days of just hanging out at home. (Well, not always that quiet with a teenager in the house...)

I am working from home today. Glad that I have that option, our side streets around my house are still pretty bad. I've been watching cars get stuck all morning going up the street, so I'm happy not to venture out.
Tonight I am supposed to go to Jersey and have dinner with my oldest daughter, I think it might be a better idea to do this next week. I don't want to be out on icy roads after dark.
Other than working from home I have some homework to get caught up on. I lost a paper I was working on yesterday, have tried everything I can think of to find it, will have to start over using the old saved version and try to rebuild the work I did yesterday.

morning Karen.. hope you are rested and today goes smoothly for you. Today has me working until 3:30. After work, we really have no plans. I will cook dinner and probably head over to the gym.
I am not too sore from shoveling yesterday. I will just be sure to do lower body, not too much upper body since I did that yesterday. There are both spin and body pump classes at 5:30 tonight. I'll have to see which one I want to do. I'm thinking spin since I haven't been to that this week and because of my upper body.
No dinner with Friday night friends today as David's mom is in from Florida and she won't be here long. Siehara and I may head to the mall.. who knows.

Good luck to Nicole and Jason. You will be staying on the major roads for most of the trip, so it shouldn't be all that bad.
Got up early...went grocery shopping...just put it all away. I also have a pot of chicken stock on the stove, and the beginnings of beef stock as well.
Have to make two different types of cookies - it is what my in laws requested as their anniversary gift (which is today....but they aren't gonna get them today, I can guarantee, lol)
Speaking of which, hubby might go to his parents house...and if so I'm gonna try my hand at making petit fours as a V Day surprise for him.
I also have the makings out for tacos so I'll at least cook the meat and stuff so it doesn't go bad and so we can have it in the fridge for "whenever"
In between the stock making, the petiti four making, the cookie baking....I'll also be doing a few loads of laundry and chilling out.

Good morning all - everybody made it into work today - I came in late. Decided to wait til it was light out just in case there were icy spots on the roads - they were much better today than yesterday. Took us forever to get here, tho - guess since most people didn't make it to work Wed & Thrs everybody decided to come in Friday.
Picked my nephew up yesterday - he was coming for the weekend anyway to stay with mom while hubby and I visit friends in Fenwick - glad I did because she was sick all night and is sick in bed today, but I feel better knowing he's there with her and can take care of her and the dog. I still plan on going to the beach this weekend - its my bff's birthday and I've got a ton of food to take, along with her gifts, etc. So hopefully mom will be feeling better later and we'll be on the road in the morning.
Not much else new in my world right now...hope everybody has a great weekend. Talk to you all on Monday...
