***Snowed In Thursday Roll Call***

Good Morning Everyone,
I fell asleep on the couch, and now I can't get to bed.  I am concerned about my sister, because I tried to call her earlier and did not even get her machine.  She does not have a cell phone, so I have no idea if her power is out or not.  My guess is that it is out.

Thursday, I was supposed to see my rheumatologist at 11:50, which was rescheduled from Wednesday, but now that is cancelled due to the weather.  I am also supposed to go to group in the evening, but not sure whether that will pan out or not.

I had a productive Wednesday, in spite of the snow.  Got my taxes done and hung some valances.

Have a safe Thursday.

Trish

Hey Trish,

Where does your sister live?  I'm betting her power was out too when you tried calling.  I'll be thinking of both of you today!

I'm up pretty early - came home from work yesterday and got a few hour nap in before waking up for the day, so I went to bed completely exhausted by 10p (ok...I was half asleep on the couch by 9 in all honesty) and ended up waking up just before 5 this morning.

Probably gona venture out today.  Gotta see in a few mins or so if the plows came back and replowed us in,  I wouldn't be surprised if they did!  Will most likely do some more shoveling in a little bit.  Brian's car was completely undug yesterday, he even went out to "see" what was going on (jeep and men, I swear...) but I need to get to mine etc etc.  I want to go to the store to get soem making for home made beef and chicken stock.  Just feels like something to do!

My father got admitted to the hospital yesterday - FINALLY.  I know it sounds weird that I'm glad he's in the hospital - but it's where he needs to be.  Apparently it's not hepatitis A that was causing all his problems but a blocked duct from his gallbladder.  He's got the "trifecta" of gallbladder problems - stones, sludge, and a blocked duct by the liver.  He's having at least one procedure today with a possibility of two in the very near future.   That being said, I am contemplating going to jersey to see him today - or definately tomorrow.  Our roads aren't all that bad and I don't forsee 78 being to big of an issue.  Also want to make sure my mom has everything that she needs - my brothers are home with her....but still....

And that'll be my day. Shoveling....possible cooking...possible trip to jersey

Stay warm all!

Um... 78 is still closed by the Governer... may open at noon. Be safe if you do go out - things here aren't pretty.

morning Trish.. hope you are able to get in touch with your sister and also get some rest.  I know a lot of people lost power even around here.

I am up working again, today.  At some point, I am going to have to walk up to Rite Aid to pick up a few essentials.  I will also need to clean off my car and see if I can move it.  I don't HAVE to go anywhere, but would like to know that I can if I need to.  I may need to borrow someone's shovel to dig out.

Other than work, I have some laundry to fold and some chores to get Siehara to do, like folding and putting away her laundry.  That ought to be fun.

No other plans.  I'm sure I'll sit on my stability ball again and do some exercise stuff while I'm working and will do a DVR workout too.  That and the walk to Rite Aid will be a good workout.

Stay safe and warm today, everyone!

Good Morning All. Well I should be 1/2 way to my Uncle's funeral by now but there are too many roads closed we can't get out :( So today has me stuck at home today. I really wish I could get there but my safety (and baby's) has to come first. My Parents are unable to get out either.

So today the plan is to do some light cleaning and get recipes together for cooking class (2/20!)

Have a good day all and be super safe if you have to go out today

EDITED - going to get in the shower and head out the door. Apparently roads are OK and I can make it to the funeral

EDITED AGAIN - NOT going, shortness of breath, cramping, backache and meltdown - all by 9am... ugh!

Liz,
I hope by the time you read this you are doing better.  You can help your family by being safe, and taking care of your little one.  Spend some time just praying or meditating and think good thoughts about your uncle, and family.  Your baby deserves a healthy, happy Mommy.

Love,
Trish
