Scranton/WB support group next Wed

My wife and I will be going to the gastric bypass support group meeting at Hazleton General Hospital Wed Feb 17th at 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  I have room for 2 more in the car if anyone wants to join us.  We can meet at the park and ride near the Wal Mart in Pittston.  Please respond if you are interested in going.  I know Lynn would like to join us but she will be 2 days post op.  It looks like an open support group, the web site says "new members always welcome"

I can't believe there isn't anyone who wants to go to the support group.  You can pm me if you don't want to respond on the forum. 


Has anyone been to a meeting at Hazleton General?   Can anyone offer fedback good or bad?

So sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner, .. but my Dad is in hospice, and I've been spending most of my time there.
I know we wrote to each other about possibly getting a support group started closer... more local.
I still want to try getting that together.
As far as wed. the 17th. I have my last appt with my surgeon and meet with the anesthesiologist that day in Hershey. So...I can't go with you guys to your meeting.   keep in touch..Susie

I am going either way.  I hope we can get a local group together.  I will be going to Abington Memorial's support when I have the time and the weather is better.  My next appointment with my surgeon is scheduled for the same day as the support group meeting there so I can do both with one drive.
