35 days after surgery

I just wanted to give everyone an update.  According to my home scale I am down 30 lbs to 241 since the day before surgery and about 40 lbs since I first met the Doctor.  I am into the soft food stage and I am able to tolerate most foods except for mashed potatoes.  I am off all my diabetes meds and I just went off blood pressure meds this week.  My bp had been running low and was 105/62.  I have been doing a half hour a day on the stationary bike and my wife enrolled us into dance lessons.  My last blood work was very good, my cholesterol was 136 total without any statin drugs and my HBA1C was 6.4 which is high normal for non diabetics and should go lower yet.  I am only down one waist size and had to get some new pants.   My XXL shirts are big as are my jackets.    I am not hungry and have to force myself to eat.  I found some really good wraps at our local Wegmans - Flatout Flatbreads (great name)  $2.59 for 6 wraps.  Each wrap is about 6" x 9" oval  has 90 calories, 16 grams of carb,  9 grams of fiber (6 net carbs) and 9g of protein.  The light italian herb flavor is very good.  I use a half of a wrap with 2 oz of turkey, 1 slice of cheese and some light mayo for lunch.   About 24 grams of protein for lunch   I am back to work full time and I got a little fridge in my office for drinks and snacks and it is working out great.  I can mix protein shakes and keep them cold.  I am getting called "skinny" at work and I im in a 42 waist pants and have aout 60 lbs to go... How big was I???

Way to go Mark!
I am very impressed!
Wish I was joining you for support group
I saw my PCP today and he took some more blood(I wonder if I have any left??) just to have his own numbers to compare, wrote all my Rx's for vitamins, and is doing an Epstein Barr level to see how surgery affects this virus.
I am ready can't wait !
Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.

When my surgeon did pre surgery blood work they drew 10 vials! I thought I was going to pass out from the blood loss.  LOL!
