Is this normal?

I have noticed with foods such as mashed potatoes and refried beans that it feels like they just "sit" at the bottom of my throat/ top of my chest, did anyone experience this early out? Is that where you feel it when your full? It may also be extra mucus in my throat- my doctor called in an rx for antibiotic and mucinex (as soon as the blizzard passes I will be able to get to the pharmacy!). So it may be a combination of both? Thanks!

mashed taters and refried beans can be heavy and dense especially early out. The extra mucous could also be your pouchies way of reacting to something that is too dense. Try some lighter foods for a bit and see if that helps.

Good luck!

I know that those foods are on soft/pureed type stages...but they really aren't what you want to aim for regardless (well....the refried beans are ok as far as protein...but the mashed taters aren't)

Yes, they can be to dense and just sit weird.

Feel better!  Stick with lighter foods if you can for awhile longer
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
