There is a sugar free "hot cinnamon" hard candy that I've found at a good pharmacy that has a candy counter. Can't remember the brand, but it's a white plastic bag. Keep in mind that having too many of them WILL have a laxative effect from the artificial sweeteners, and that you're adding carbs by eating them, so be careful.
Yes, your bad breath is quite likely ketosis... BUT if you start developing a whitish "film" on your tongue, it could be thrush, which is also common. If you see that, call your doc - there's a prescription that's needed and that will resolve it quickly. Thrush is contagious by contact, i believe. If you check back through a couple of weeks of posts, someone else posted a pic of their tongue with a classic case of thrush, so you'll know what you're looking for.
And also recognize that the ketosis will resolve itself, so just give it time. I personally believe that balancing carbs ("good" carbs like veggies) and protein will help resolve it too.
