One week today!
Went for my pre admissions today.
They had trouble getting blood pressure was almost 90 over 53, I have a funny feeling that's going to bite me in the ass after surgery. Anyone have problems with low pressure?
But all else went great, I will get a surgery time Valentines day.
I am very excited, I am not sure I could be more ready.
One more week, it's funny even though I haven't been craving much,  this week I am craving everything I shouldn't!
So bed early, exercise early. This week will be crazy! I have to fit in all my clients b4 Monday. I am only taking 2 weeks for now, they think I am leaving forever lol
I hope this flies by!

I have low blood pressure.  They always think I am dead.  Better than high.  Why do you think it will bite you in the ass after surgery?  Because we will be tired as hell?  I also have hypothyroidism.  I am screwed in that area I think.

Do you take synthroid, you should be fine. I have asked alot of people and they absorb Synthroid with no problems. Yes, I am thinking with a low pressure I may be really weak, it may mean nothing as well???

Under the keen eye of my Mom(40 yr Registered nurse) I am trying Tylenol for the first time in 20 years. I take alot of naproxen/ibuprofen for pain. I know I will not be able to  after RNY. The last time I took Tylenol I was extremely nauseated, and never took again. I do not like pain pills at all, even after other major surgeries I refused them but relied on Advil....so time to try old/new things  GETTING ADJUSTED!

I do take Synthroid.  How will we take it when we can't swallow a pill?

You will be able to take pills fairly early out.

Synthroid is VERY small so it shouldn't be a problem.  If it is, however, take a pill crusher (available at any drug store/pharmacy/grocery store) and cru**** and dissolve it in a little swig of water or something.
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
