AS for me I am at wor****il 4. We had a change of plans for my Uncle's services. Viewings are today but funeral was delayed until Thursday. So I am just going to the funeral. I haven't been feeling well and with the bad weather coming my family basically told me not to come today, it was too much. After work today I want to stop at the candy store to get Chris something for V-day, a quick stop at the bank to deposit my paycheck and home to do basically nothing.

Dr thinks that my issues are pregnancy related asthma, labs today will reveal more, maybe. Oh and pregnancy induced carporal tunnel. I would trade any of it for the world because my baby is healthy, that's all that matters! I am just down lately because of the weather etc.

Liz, I'm glad you won't be driving to NJ today!!!  You were there to celebrate his birthdays with him, which is good.  Best to be safe and get some rest.

Thanks honey.  I will call if needed - promise.  I think after my little melt down yesterday things are looking better for me.  Apparantly, I needed the release of stress I wasn't even aware that I was carrying.

I don't know how he is this morning.  I am playing the "no news is good news" game because I told both my other brother and my father to call the house, text or call my cell at any point during the night if ANYTHING changed and/or if they needed extra people there.  I haven't heard anything and Brian didn't get any phone calls last night so I'm guessing it's a good thing?  Or at least, that's what I have to believe for now for my own sanity.

Got some food in my tummy - read about all the exciting things going on in everyone's life and will be going to bed shortly.

I'm soooooo glad you are not driving to jersey - I was concerned about everything you had to do and the way you've been feeling and the snow and what not :)

Nothing going on today, except waiting for the snow to start.  I heard on the news this morning that there could be another storm on Monday.  Oh boy!!!  I'm so glad I'm not working right now and don't have to worry about going anywhere!  We picked up some groceries yesterday so I can do some baking in the next few days.

I HATE SNOW

AT least a lot of people are already off monday and the schools are closed. I however am not one of them...

Don't even think about Monday.  It's too far off for them to make any predictions.   And if it is that bad, don't try to be a hero---do what you need to do!

Morning everyone-

Headed out the door in a few minutes to get to work.  I think today will be a jam packed with the weather coming tomorrow.  We've been trying to re-arrange our student appointments so that we have all of Wed. and the morning of Thursday clear.  It's going to make it interesting.

We actually cancelled a job fair that was going to be held on Wed.  This is UNHEARD of, so that told me Wed. is going to be pretty nasty.  For our area they are still saying anywhere from 12-18 inches.  My boss lives along the MD/PA line, so is really understanding about traveling to work in the snow.  Her exact words yesterday "I want no one driving to work if you feel uncomfortable.  Our jobs are not worth our lives".   I'm so lucky to work for a lady like her!  Lord knows our campus wouldn't shut down even if we got 5 feet of snow!  So I'll pack enough work to work from home on Wed. and hopefully won't have to use a vacation day.

At this point, I'm just hoping that the snow gets cleared away enough for me to get to my 6 week check up with Brader on Thursday morning.  That appointment is going to be 6 days early of my true 6 week mark, but that's all the time he had in his schedule.  Hopefully we'll still get to meet and he'll know I'm not to that exact number he wanted me to be at 6 weeks because I'm early!

Drive careful on your way home everyone.  I know for us (Harrisburg/Lancaster area) they are saying we need to be prepared for it to start around 3pm.  Feels like we're back in Iowa!

I met with Dr. Brader yesterday 10 days early.....He understood that I was early with the appt. and was pleased with the progess.  I think it will probably be the same for you.  Good Luck!

Thanks for the update Becky!  I got a call from Brader's office today and they aren't sure they'll be able to make it in to the office on Thursday morning with the snow... so my 6 week might not end up being early... but REALLY delayed.  Either way I'll roll with it - your reply def. made me feel better =)
