I am feeling more Jewish already! Wow!

geez, Stef, now she's really going to think we're freaks.. I'd love to see you wear your tallis to the museum.. do you wear one? I do!  I need a new one.  Mine is coming apart.

I have neverworn one - but I thought it was more appropriate than telling her we would bring her a kepah.  Should I have said tefillin?!?!

tefillin...yeah!!   When we went snowboarding, there was a whole slew of black hat Jews there.. OMG, I thought I was in Williamsburg, for real.  They were praying and everything.  When we first got there, there was a group outside doing the afternoon service.  I was counting to be sure they had 10, otherwise I was going to find Siehara's teacher to help out.. LOL.. Later, I went in for something to eat and felt very self conscious sitting there eating the insides of an italian hoagie next in the middle of all of them with their tables covered, hot pots boiling and packed food all over the table.  I should have just asked them to share with me.. LOL.. food probably would have been much better.  And you know there were a TON of kids with them... and all the boys were wearing tsitsit.. (not tefillin)

Yeah - I probably would have been inappropriate and said something loud and obnoxiuos!  (So UNLIKE me I know!)  I haven't seen my BIL with his tefillin - I guess I am NOT allowed to see it! :)  OY VEY! :)
