Congrats to the Saints.  Apparantly as per my FB status updates, they won the superbowl.  I didn't see minute one of the game....

Anyway here I am at work.  I came darn close to calling out just from shear exhaustion from being up early and out of the house most of the day...got home in time to take a nap but could I fall asleep?  Of course freaking not.  I can tell you a lot of info about the search for Noah's ark and the devil's bible, however, thanks to the National Geographic Chanell that Brian had one

Anyway - stopping at the pharmacy here in work on the way home, and then headed home where I plan to go to bed.  The goal is to be in bed by 8:30am.  We shall see.  No cooking needed today - left overs in the fridge - and I even have a few things packed in smaller containers so packing my food shouldn't be an issue.

Back tonight 7p-7a

Have a great day!

Good Morning Pam & PA;

Up getting ready for work.  I forgot I have a doctor appt today so I'll be leaving work at 2 to get to the docs then to class till 10 pm.  I'm hoping school is closed and they put the class online tonight I really don't feel like driving after the roads thaw then freeze after dark.

Hope everyone has a safe warm day..

Ida

Remember when we were little kids and they used to tell you to wear your PJ's inside out in hopes of a snow day?  (or at least that's the wives tale we were told)  Well, I will do that for you this morning when I go to bed!  I'll wear em inside out and hope for a snow day for you!

I had to drive last night well after dark and well after freezing - but the main roads were fine by me and even the secondary roads weren't to to bad.  It appeared that the sunshine we did get not only allowed the snow to melt off of the major road ways along with the salting they did, but also evaporated some of it so it didn't refreeze?  That's my best guess.

Either way good luck today - long day for you!

Thank you Pam!

I'm considering not going to class tonight, the main roads around me are probably good didn't get that far yesterday only went around the corner to WaWa.  Gene was tired of our "homemade" coffee :-)
Most of  the secondary roads in Philly are always a mess from what I saw on the news last night that is pretty accurate.  They are the roads I'm not looking forward to tonight..   I know my street is a mess to get out of to the main road....

Oh Johnny was so sick of our "homemade" coffee too. He had no rest in his ass until he got plowed out and drive to get one. I was furious but he wanted to play. Men!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I got out yesterday morning for the paper and headed to McDonalds for my sf vanilla iced coffee and they were CLOSED!!! That meant another day of my homemade concoction which is okay but just not the same - I was late coming into work this morning but I stopped and got the real deal on the way in - its sick to be jonesing for a coffee that bad!!

If Gene wants to go out to WaWa and I don't have to do math problems to try to figure out how to make coffee I'm a happy camper :-)

Hi Ida - I don't know where you go to school - I really should know that - however I was out last night and the roads around here are FINE!  Also, as Larry is a paramedic in your neighborhood, he has ssaid that since Saturday night, all the roads he traveled, and you know there were A LOT, we all passable.  I hope that helps a little and gives you some sense of security! :)

Hi Steffi,
I go to Eastern University in St. Davids, my classes are currently at Palmer Seminary on Lancaster Ave and City Line Ave.  Our prof decided to put the class online for tonight, there were only two of us willing to drive to class.  I'm not much for driving in the city on slippery roads I prefer the country roads of NJ where I grew up when it snows :-)

But I am learning.....Gene will make a city girl out of me some day
