Yep! Post any recipe you want to try and we'll give you the low down :)
The only sub that I would make would be to use malitol brown sugar for the brown sugar. Of course you can use ground turkey or chicken too :) I use 93% lean ground beef a lot though.
I bet your family with love this! Kind of like a sloppy joe.

lol you can do it! But that's why I am here - if I can help you to be more confident in the kitchen you'll WANT to cook more becaue you see that you are good at it!
Shauna, one of our resident "non-cookers" has actually made POT ROAST for her family (she's a vegetarian)! She's called me in the midst (which you are welcome to do 610-462-1204) if you run into a problem! Then we just walk right through it.

Like Liz, I would use the malitol brown (order it online, not in stores that I have seen except apparantly there is a supply store I think near Lancaster that does carry one of the brands)
I sub ground turkey or chicken quite often in chilli's and other things like Liz said, too. Read the labels on the ground turkey....some of the ones in the grocery store actually have MORE fat than 93% lean beef...despite what the outside labels say ("X amount less fat than ground beef" Generally they are referring to things like 80% ground chuck or something....) I read somewhere that the higher fat turkeys/chicken ground meats in the super market sometimes grind in some of the skin to keep it moist.....

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
