Susan G Koman 3 day - Any Interest?

Actually, my husband wondered out loud this weekend if I would be interested in doing this....

The 3 day is a 60 mile walk to raise funds for breast cancer research. The Philly area walk is scheduled for October 15-17, 2010.

Informational meetings are scheduled around the Philly area starting this month. I am planning to attend the Exton/West Chester meeting on Feb. 27.

You can particiipate as an individual or as a team. There is a minimum fundraising requirement, as well as a registration fee.

They take care of accommodations, meals, entertainment, and the like. I think it's fun and amazing just to be able to consider it....but it would be more fun with a partner or two along for the ride through training and the event.

Funny thing Lynn, I have been thinking about this every time the commercial comes on. . .  still mulling it over in my mind. . .

I have pondered this in the past because my mom is a breast cancer survivor and thought it would be a great idea! Unitl I heard it was a 2500 donation.  I just can't come up with that.  I am not sure if it is per person or group.  Good Luck and post your results.  Maybe I will be able to contribute to you!

Great minds think alike.  I am very interested in it....and was surprised to find myself thinking that this year.
