OT - Thank you (yet again) and totally blown away
There's no reason to respond to this - I just wanted to let you all know....
In the past 24 hours I have gotten MULTIPLE texts/emails/PMs from many of you wonderful people that I am honored to call my friends. Not only were they continuing to extend condolences to my family and I - but there were quite a many explaining that although they had planned on coming to the memorial service for my grandmother, due to weather and/or other concerns it would not be possible.
I can honestly say, I was totally blown away by these offers. It's amazing that anyone would even *consider* driving to jersey, let alone appologize for not being able too.
Please please PLEASE understand that I have passed on all of your wishes to the rest of my family and will continue to do so over the next few days when we are together. HOWEVER - please do NOT feel the need to come and support me in person. The drive alone on a good day would take so many of you hours to do, let alone the bad weather predicted. It would absolutely break my heart if I were to find out something had happened to any of you while attempting to get down to see me.
I honestly have no idea how else to continue this post - except to say that I love you all and thank you (and stay at home with your family and enjoy the weather from the inside looking out!!!)
Pam (and my whole family, too!)

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Dear Pam,
I am so sorry that I have been out of the loop and was not aware your grandmother had passed away. Please accept my condolences.
I will keep your family in my prayers as you grieve your loss and heaven's gain.
God bless,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
