Friday Workouts!

I did my hour on the Elliptical because I have a very busy and hectic weekend ahead of me. SO what is everyone else doing to move today?

Also did an hour on the elliptical this morning.

Watched "Weeds" on my ipod. I'm almost done with Season 5. Need to load up a new show to star****ching.

I won't be doing anything formal today, I don't think I'll have time.

Yesterday, there was no chance to go to the gym so I made up for it a bit when I was in town for court.  I went into the same parking garage to park 3 different times..1st when I went to the caseworker, then left and went back to meet my friend for lunch, then left and went back for the court hearing.  Each time I parked on the 3rd floor of the deck and went up and down the stairs.  In the courthouse, I did not go UP the stairs, but I did come down from the 5th floor.  I should've gone up, too, but I didn't want to take the chance of being all out of breath and such when I got there and having him think that I was out of shape.. LOL!

I had the BEST WORKOUT EVER today, because I got to... wait for it... GO BACK TO ZUMBA!!!!

It felt SO GOOD to move again, I can't even tell you!  Those recumbent bike workouts I was doing just do not compare to Zumba.  My foot doctor said I could go back as long as I wore my big-soled crosstrainers, and not my dance sneakers, and that I had to STOP if I felt any pain.  I didn't pu**** and modified a few steps, but still, I was able to keep up and felt no pain whatsoever.  I'm so glad that my foot has healed so well and that I'm able to exercise much sooner than I thought I would!

Another day of no cardio... but I will be doing upper body at the gym.  It is going to be a long 2 months.

I was not great today
20 min treadmill
8 min elliptical
some stretching
30 abslides
I skipped yesterday, I am on the countdown to surg.....I need to do this  everyday!

I did an hour "bodyflow" class - a lot of yoga blended with some pilates.

Then...a half hour with Rikki the trainer. Was dripping sweat when she finished with me!

I've decided to put 10 miles on the treadmill this weekend...and since we will be getting dumped on by mother nature, I am sure there will be a good deal of time spent shoveling myself out.

I pushed myself this morning - sorry I'm late posting.

I DID 50 STORIES ON THE STAIRS THIS MORNING!!!!  Managed a decent clip (still need to get faster, but this is the first time i've made it that far without "dying").  

Followed that up with a "sprint" on the arm bike, then finished up with a host of ab work with the medicine ball and the big inflated ball.
