Transfer addiction?

OK...I don't drink, don't smoke, don't use drugs. No gambling either. And I'm not a compulsive shopper.

But...I think the internet is getting hold of me. It's gone from a quick check morning and evening to browsing around a LOT...even to the detriment of my time needed for work and other things.

Is this a transfer addiction? Honestly I've been sort of an internet geek for a long time, so maybe it's just what I'm most vulnerable to.

What do you think? What would you do?

I'm with you, but it was a "habit" before WLS, just got a bit more so afterwards. . .  I am getting better, weekends I am hardly on, just a quick check in email and then late night Bejeweled runs. . .  lol

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

I've always been a bit of an email junky...and now with my iphone...sheesh.  Especially bejweled on FB  I definately use it as a source of boredom killer....I guess it's better than eating...but exercise would be even more productive.

If it's interfering with doing things that MUST be done...I would definately rethink it...maybe set a timer and stick to it?
