***French Toast Brigade Friday****
Today I'm off from work. A good friend passed away last weekend. She had a stroke while driving home from work on Friday and hit a pole. Today is the viewing and church service.
To all the nurses out there, the family of our friend is very thankful. The pole she hit was in front of a house where a nurse lived, she came out and administered CPR until the ambulance arrived. Because of her (the nurse) the family was able to donate our friends organs which is helping with their closure of the events of her death.
Other happenings today, have to pick up some tea bags I ordered at whole foods on Saturday, they are in. Run some other errands and then home to watch the snow fall and make our yard look pretty.
Everyone be safe today if you are driving after the snow begins to fall....

I am at wor****il 4 unless it starts snowing heavy before that then I am outta here early. After work going straight home to hole up for the weekend. We don't have any plans and Chris doesn't have to work tomorrow (YAY!). I am hoping to get some organizing done and get some recipes together for cooking classes.
Have a great day all and SAFE TRAVELS

Happy Friday everybody - I love girls night when everybody talks at once and over each other and laughs and carries on - glad you had a good time, Pam - its a kick in the butt to me to get things organized with my gf's for one of those!
I'm at work today - will stay til the snow starts then head home (unless its after 4:30, of course - then I'll be leaving anyway)...wish I could say I'm looking forward to this snow 'event' but honestly am not - mostly because of the dog - otherwise I'd just hunker down in the house and ride it out, but he has to be walked. Not looking forward to that tomorrow morning!!
Not much else going on right now - spoke to my brother last night and they're all very anxious to get my mom down to Florida - not sure she's quite as anxious but hopefully we can work it out that she heads down there in March sometime.
Oh, stepdaughter called last night asking if she could use my house for a baby shower for her son and his fiance - will really have to talk to my hubby about that one because my house isn't very large or 'child friendly' and she said there are at least 5 little ones coming - hey, I love kids as much as the next person but bringing them to a shower? Oh well, we'll figure it out...she wants to have it at our house because we're a more central location (and its one way to ensure I'm at the shower I'm guessing) because she knows I don't really do those anymore.
Anyway, not going to fret over all that - just the impending blizzard coming our way!!
