WOW night

Went out last night with friends and have not seen them in a few months.  Got a lot of "Oh my god you look great" etc. Was beaming all night long.. and then.. someone says to me... Your so skinny... I know I am not skinny but what a great feeling to have them say that to me. 

I am truely blessed to have such great support here to keep me moving in the right direction and the wonderful staff at LGH for doing a fabulous job on my insides!!!

Congrats!  Doesn't it feel good to be complimented!!  I saw my family for the first time since surgery (almost 2 weeks ago) and the first thing they said was wow I can tell your face looks thinner- ha!  I can't really tell, but I put my pre-op "tight" jeans on yesterday and they were falling off me, so that made me happy :)   Congrats again!!

Compliments are funny things aren't they? They feel so good....but on the other hand sometimes we don't know quite how to respond!

I ran to Turkey Hill this afternoon....parked on the side and actually saw a guy do a double take (at me! yikes!) and then he obviously held the door open for me. The funny part was...I was only going to TH for a couple of Red Box movies~ so really didn't need to go inside! I did, though, and thanked him....then out the other door to get my movies.
