I think its fantastic that you got your date and are having plastics - its a shame you can't share it with your family but plastics has a bad rap about being all 'Hollywood' and that crap - my daughter had breast augmentation a couple of years ago because after 3 kids at a young age she said hers hung like 'wet tube socks' - LOL!! When she told me she said 'now don't go getting all judgemental on me' and honestly when she told me it was the last thing on my mind. Of course her picking a good surgeon came first, and her overall health, and I can't begin to tell you what it has done for this girls' self-esteem - and she didn't go crazy with size or anything, but I'm happy for her and it really changed my attitude about plastic surgery.

I can't wait to have it done myself!! I'm not sure where I'd start - maybe from the bottom up because my legs are so nasty, plus its affecting my bionic knees with all the heavy skin hanging on them. Belly honestly isn't too bad and I doubt it would ever be flat - now the girls?? They're definitely in need of a retrofit!! And then the face - its sagging but again, something I can live with.

Anyway this was probably way more info than you wanted or needed - LOL!! You go and get your TT and lipo - wish you all the best with everything and after its all healed go out and get that new belly button pierced and show it off!!

I feel your daughters pain. After 5 pregnancies, 4 chilbirths and losing over 110 pounds, my puppies look like basset hounds......lol

I definately look forward to making them chipper little puppies again but between the two surgeries, the surgeon felt the belly is more beneficial at this time, and I agree!

Good for you!!
Plastics saved my life after cancer,no it wasnt medically necessary but I would be sooo depressed if I had to live without plastics.
Who would have know that lipo can be used to create so many things...don't want to give anyone tmi......
I wish you the best of luck....and make sure you get a lot of rest and don't overdue it!

I am cursed/blessed to have a best friend who has not only has the same procedure, but is also a OR nurse and post op nurse for plastics. So she has stict instructions for me, will be driving me, and since she only lives a few minutes away......she will be my police and home nurse the first few days.

Thanks for sharing........when I am ready for my boobs, if I can't have my current surgeon, I will be on the look out for another one!

jealous!

after WLS, plastics was the BEST thing I ever did for myself. I felt "complete" and somewhat normal. I still have one more procedure to go (tummy) though I don't know how I'll ever have the money to pay for it.

Best of luck and I look forward to excellent post op updates.
