Anyone gone to see Dr. Monk about weight regain?

Dr. Monk in York did my surgery (rny) over 5 years ago.  I have an appointment with him to discuss the large amount of weight I've regained and hopefully to get an upper GI series done to see what my pouch/stoma is like.  I'm just wondering if anyone's gone back to see him for this problem and what is was like.  I'm so nervous and embarassed over it. I'm worried about how he'll react.  I did speak to his nurse on the phone who was very nice and said the best thing for me to do was to come back.

I just had my surgery in Nov. with Dr. Monk so, I obviously don' t know how he'll be about weight regain.  But, I agree you should go back and meet with him.  They have support group meetings (I think the woman that runs them is Debbie Sigel-might not be the person i'm thinking of ) but, either way she is incredibly knowledgeable and could probably help you get back on track.  I've met with her over at Clinical Weightloss and she met with me right after my surgery. I was told that if at any time I needed help or got off track to contact Clinical weightloss and they would help me get back where I needed to.  I wouldn't worry at all....we've all gotten this surgery for a similar reason and they are there to help us not criticize.  Good luck and let us know how it goes.
