I love you all
So sorry to hear you are going through a rough time. Congratulations for getting the help you need, and for taking care of yourself. Celebrate every small step in the right direction and before you know it you will be celebrating how much is right in your life again. Hang in there and know that we are all here for you and will keep sending you our stength and love.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
I think you'll recognize that tune.....Love Ya Trish

Trish,
I'm so glad to see you back here and I'm so sorry to hear of the reason you've been away. I'm so glad you've gotten positive help - I've never understood how an absolute "cutting off" of outside input (including access to support networks) is seen as a critical part of inpatient MH care. And frankly, three hours of local TV news would PUT me in a mental hospital - how depressing and anxiety producing it is, with its hysterical parade of everything "awful" in the world. What ARE they thinking?
Anyway, you've never been far from our thoughts and you have a wide and loving community here who is willing to work with you however you need it to support your continued recovery. All you have to do is tap into the resource by letting us know what you need.
Remember that you are loved, and that you touch many more lives than you may even be aware of.
Hugs, Trish.
Karen
