Which Nectar flavor do you like the best?
I bought the Crystal Sky Nectar protein powder today and just tried it with plain water- yuck! It has a weird smell/taste at first (I think it's just the flavor I chose) So I added a packet of crystal light fruit punch, not much better. Also do you usually just stir it in with a spoon, I put it in a water bottle and shook it- too much fizz. So which flavor does everyone like and do you mix it with crystal light at all? Thanks!

My favorite is the Fuzzy Navel flavor and I mix it with lemonade -- I use the 4C Light2Go which has Splenda, rather than Crystal Light. I usually mix it in a shaker cup and then let it sit for about 10 or 15 minutes, which gives it time for the foam to go down. I also like the Twisted Cherry flavor, which I also mix with Lemonade.
I like the Nectar Cappuccino flavor. Hated it right after surgery, but now I mix it with either greek yogurt or Giant's brand coffee flavored yogurt and love it. I also have the Nectar Caribbean Cooler, but it's not something I'll buy again. I haven't tried the other flavors but keep thinking I want to order some sample packs from vitalady so I can try them.
Have you tried using a Blender Bottle to mix your protein? If you're not familiar with it, it's a plastic cup with a screw-on lid with a drinking 'spout'. It has a wire whisk ball that mixes protein powder quickly and easily. You can find them at GNC (kind of expensive) and online. I loved my Blender Bottles right after surgery and still use them. I make sure I take one with me when traveling too.

Chocolate Truffle with 4 oz water and 4 oz fat free milk.............tastes like chocolate milk. I mix mine with a spoon because I can't stand the foamies/fizz from using my blender. I've tried other flavors like Fuzzy Navel (with water) and Caribbean Cooler (with water) and they were pretty good too. I got tired of the sweet fruit drinks (from my 2 week full liquid phase) because I drank crystal light all the time and I found that chocolate was a nice change of pace and it's not too sweet either.
my favorite is fuzzy navel. i mix it with crystal light orange sunrise (or grocery store generic). the only thing it is missing then is the vodka (which at night i sometimes do). i also use the blender bottle but when i mix it at home i use one of those handheld blenders and it is so smooth. i've liked all the flavors so far. i do prefer to try and mix with additional flavored water, but then i usually add 20oz so it gets me to drink more. I also have the cookies and cream, disgusting with water, great with skim milk.
if you get the customer service number off of www.si03.com they sell a variety sampler pack of the nectar flavors, i think there are 10 or 11 of them. they come individually wrapped. when i got mine, they offered it for only $10 shipped to your door. they will only send one per household address/name. that way you can try them out and figure out what you like best.
