Pam,

I just saw this on FB and thank you for filling in the details here.  It's the best of a bad situation that you have a decision that you are at peace with and that actually relieves stress for your family, particularly your dad.  It absolutely makes sense that he can just be himself and show his vulnerabilities and grieve better with just your mom there - some guys are just like that.

My wish is that your grandmother goes peacefully, quickly, and without pain or suffering.  It sounds like your family has "it" together and can find peace in her passing, as well.  Perhaps her passing will relieve your aunt of some stress, as well, and she will find the strength or wherewithal to take better care of herself.

If there is ANYTHING i can do, i'm just a phone call, text, or email away.

Thanks, Karen

I do hope my aunt can do something once she passes....but there's a strong history there that I am not to sure this will break.  But right now, it's more important to deal with my immediate family and make sure we are at peace with everything that is going on, which is what we are doing and why things are as together as they are during this time.

I also am sending my heartfelt sorry for this time in your life.  You are surrounded by love and that will help you in this time.
