Good Morning Geoff & PA:
Geoff - Great job on the gym!!!!!!!    I'm currently in a stall, my gym time has slipped dramaticaly due to class schedule.  I am so looking forward to Feb 22nd for two reasons, the first it is my wedding anniversary - 6 years , the second it is my LAST DAY OF CLASSES !  7 years working on my degree is finally coming to an end!  I'll be able to get back to my noon-time walks and the gym regularly, I can't wait :-)

My Upper Endoscopy yesterday went well, everything inside looks fantastic.  So it looks like I have a prissy pouch that I'll have to baby until I'm ready for the heavy meats and fish.  Doc said to take it slow and my body will tell me when it's ready for the meat and fish.

This morning we are off to Palmer Seminary for a support group meeting with Gene's doctoral program participants - I'm looking forward to getting together with this group of amazing people for a couple hours.

Then I think we're heading over to Jersey to look for a briefcase for Gene and maybe some shoes/boots for me if I see any I like.  Might just have to go to some of those out of the way places I know that stock good shoes :-)

Then a trip to Whole Foods for some groceries.

Will end my day reading and writing in preparation of Monday's class as well as all the online work that is required for both classes.  I do not like these online portions of class!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's it for my boring day....hope you all manage to stay warm....

Oh happy day... well, sort of.....

Geoff, you are doing fantastic!!! Glad to see your dedication to your tool and your exercise plan!! Rock it, man!!

Today had me up working for about an hour trying to fix and error that I made due to lack of communication on a couple of people's parts.  Another girl was willing to fix it, but she is not a normal work at home person and the xtranet does not work properly for what was needed to be done.  So, I took care of it.  What the heck, it's an extra hour of overtime for me.  I can definitely use the money.

Now, I am going to get in the shower and head off to the drug store to drop off Siehara's prescriptions and then to synagogue.  Afterwards, I will pick up the meds and I am hoping to get together with a girl I grew up with who is in town for the weekend.  She is supposed to call me this afternoon.  If she doesn't, I'll probably call her mom's house to see what's going on.

Other than that, there is nothing set in stone.

Tomorrow we are doing the snow tubing that we were supposed to do last Sunday.  Can't wait!!

Good Morning All! 3 year surgiversary for me today - but I'll save that for a post later when my brain is more awake! lol

Today has me doing the mundane stuff... Chris is at work so I will be cleaning, organizing and later my Mom is coming over and is going to help me hang a border in the baby's room. I also want to work on my mural and paint a cabinet. Will I ever get all this done - NOPE! lol but I'll try! What I don't get done today I'll work on tomorrow.

Have a great day all and stay warm! I am contemplating not even opening the front door!

Good morning Geoff, Melissa and everyone....Today will hopefully be a better day - At least I don't have to go to work - I can stay home and focus on all the things I need to do here - I will actually sit down with Larry - yup - he is home today - and list everyting that needs to be done and see what if anything can be cut - thanks Karen!  Otherwise, the only other plans that are definite are heading to the pool and getting Emily to dance class - (I think I am going to have Larry take Emily - see - already delegating!)  I would like to get my nails done - but I don't think taking three hours for them to dry is a good use of my time right now - maybe later in the week.

I did make it to the pool last night and swam 1/2 mile without any crampings in my feet or toes - so I figured to not over do it - today I am going to try to get to 3/4 mile and see how that goes so I can get back to swimming a mile.  I do LOVE swimming - it is sooo peaceful for me and gives me ample opportunity to be with myself - and I now wear earplugs to keep the water out so I really hear noone but me when I am swimming.

That is it for me for sure today - Larry and I may go out later - but I think just hanging at home getting stuff done here is nice too.  We'll see how annoying the kids are...I also want to get to the mall to Victoria's Secret - I really need to get sized properly and I have a gift card from my birthday last year from wonderful friends who have been sooo supportive of this whole journey - it is time I use it!  Maybe a trip tot he mall with hubby will happen...This is the first day in a while that plans are flexible....so needed!

Have a great warm Saturday all!

Just a quick  note to say goodmorning!

Back at my parents house.  I'm making chocolate covered strawberries for the party we are attending later tonight.  I also have to go get my car cleaned completely as now we are driving my grandparents to the party and well....you know how it is.

Mom and Dad are in NC seeing my dad's mom.  Sounds like she had an "extension" of her stroke that happened in december on Wednesday.  I'll save the melodrama but suffice to say my aunt who lives with her did absolutely nothing about it except "take care of her"  By the time my parents got down on Friday...she had eaten a total of 1/2 cup of applesauce since Wed, didn't recognize my parents, and had no use of the right side of her body.  She's in the hospital now, and will be transferred to a nursing home probably monday.  I don't expect this to last long at all.  She has "moments" of lucidity...but that's about it, and can't really speak.  Oh, and they are in the  middle of a huge snowstorm with up to 10 inches today.  Last year it snowed 2 inches and schools were closed literally for two days, so that makes this all that more difficult.

Sorry for yet another ramble.  If I disapper suddenly over the next few days, it's because I went to NC.  I'll be available via email and fb though.

gotta go get my stuff done so I can hopefully get a nap before leaving here for the party about 5:30.

Pam

Hello and happy weekend!

We had dinner with friends last night - Steve knew them both and I had only met the husband once, briefly.  The wife turns out to be very nice and we had a very good evening.

No real plans this weekend.  I want to get some exercise in - managed another 20 minute walk yesterday...brrr.  Will probably go see my mom tomorrow at the nursing home.  Spend some couple time with Steve.  I have a little piece I have to write for a website.  And a gorgeous brisket to cook tonight - got from the Amish at Reading Terminal.  I try to get all my meats from them, figuring they won't pump them full of drugs and hormones...it's always very tasty!

Guess that's it.  Everyone, be well.

Lisa
