I have felt much better today ,I was able to even go watch my lil boys play.. I finally felt alive again *LOL so tired of being in the dang house..
had yummy refried beans for dinner- its the lil things LOL.. although the kids buffalo chicken was really smelling good.. I can have chicken next week I am wondering can I have that though....

soon I will be on reg foods and I am trying to prepare myself for that means....

I know what you mean about being stuck in the house- haha I just had my surgery monday and I already am getting tired of being in the house.  I am trying not to over do it though, maybe will take a walk at the mall later tonight with my hubby.  mmm i can have mushy foods on tuesday and I am thinking that even blended food will taste soooo good! lol  I am nervous to try foods for the first time, but I have had no problems with liquids or getting sick.  good luck!!

I didnt have any problems going to soft foods- I cant wait till tommorrow I can add turkey meat and chicken to my diet *L oh its just the lil things in life... I havent had any probs with foods either- just protein shakes can't stand most of them and I dont like the greek yogurt..
refried beans has became a fav of mine *L.. I cant wait to be able to eat a reg diet and have a veggie and a meat to feel like I am having a real meal..

just don't over do it that is the only prob I really had was getting very weak from overdoing it and probably not haveing enough protein...

Jenn, are you pureeing things? I had some fish that I pureed in a mini food processor, and it tasted very good and felt like I was eating dinner with my family. I did that and saved the leftovers for other meals. The fish and a dab of baked potato made me feel like I really had had dinner.

My husband ordered pizza the other night and the smell was killing me. I took the cheese off of one slice, (cheese-only pizza) added a tablespoon of Prego and put it in the mini food processor. Then I reheated it in the microwave. It only made about 3 tablespoons but it was so satisfying to eat that while they had their pizza. I wouldn't try Buffalo wings yet--I think the spices might be irritating.

You just have to get creative!

Hey I am doing soft foods not purrred, just following out paper we were giving..I have eaten cottage cheese, refried beans with cheese, and tonight i did turkey meat with cheese melted it was soo yummy.. I put hot sauce on my eggs and it hasnt bothered me spicy things dont seem to irritate me.. '

so how is everything else going I am going to the docs monday cant wait to see what their scales say mine say 40lbs lost just not ready to believe it yet i guess *L
