Thrilling Thursday Roll Call

Good morning all - Jo, again, fantastic news on the TT and what the doctor is doing for you - that is totally awesome!! Some day I will have my legs done - they're my worst area as they had gotten HUGE when I was heavy, and now I have all this loose, saggy, elephant looking skin drooping from the top down. I can live with my tummy - that's actually not as bad - wouldn't mind a little lift on the girls, too, but the legs must come first. Maybe 2011 will be my year.

I'm at work - no snow for us this morning altho I did see areas all around that were getting some making people's commutes miserable. Yesterday didn't turn out to be quite as quiet as I had hoped so I'm hoping for a quieter one today.

Not much new in my little corner of the world - working - hopefully working out tonight. Mom hasn't mentioned wanting to go get her hair done - I think she feels bad that I had to take her out to a dr's appt last night and she could see I was whipped from 2 very stressful days at work. So if she doesn't want to go I will definitely be bonding with my bike tonight. Still working on that hula hoop too - man I thought it would be as easy as getting back on a regular bicycle after 30 years - NOT!! LOL!! Its hard keeping that hoop up and going!

Well, hope you all have a great day...Kathy

Ok - so it seems that I need to read ALL the posts before I get to the roll call - I haven't read what you posted about the TT consult, but from what I gather here - I am going to be SUPER jealous!   I will respond to that more later - after I actually read the whole thing!

So today has me at wor****il 3:15, headed home for a little while, back to pick up Molly from school and run to Target as she has decided to use Model Magic for her project, Thanks to EVERYONE for your thoughts and ideas for the Solar System!  I am then running back home to eat an early dinner and take Emily to Brownies and Molly to her grandfathers so that I can then go to yet another meeting with my Israel group.  I really should not have ever needed this surgery as I am ALWAYS running around!  HA HA!  I am hoping that the meeting tonight will be short and productive!

Have a great Thursday all!

Morning, Everyone!

The drive to the gym this morning was SCARY!!! Cars sliding all over the place, a 6-car accident on 263, etc.  But I got there in one piece and had a nice cardio workout - got the sweaty tired feeling back (yay!) that I've been missing lately.

I'm at work today until 5 then running home to meet the home depot guy to give me a price on the window that they're not covering the warranty on.  I'm SO ticked...  we got the window from them in '96 and it has a "limited lifetime warranty."  Problem is that the installer (contracted through home depot) didn't install knee braces, and this brand of window required knee braces.  Because the installer didn't do it, and we didn't know to look for it, the manufacturer said that voids the warranty.  Home depot says they only warranty installers for 12 months (I asked how we were supposed to detect something in 12 months that takes years to manifest - they basically shrugged and said "that's all we covered back then").  The window is failing and just about ready to fall off the house, so leaving it as is is not an option - and the logical and easiest time to do it is when the sink and cabinets are pulled out as it will be a piece of cake to get to.  Sigh.  I'm 99% sure I'm going to have the Lowes installer do it, as I'm just so ticked at Home Depot right now.

Anyone know a good electrician in my area, btw?  I need a price on some elec work related to the kitchen...  And a good hardwood floor refinisher? (for a tiny job refinishing the kitchen steps)

Argh!  Trying to keep the stress down to a dull roar.  Looking so forward to having this DONE but the process may drive me crazy ;-).  Haha.

Have a great day, friends!
