You are still good!  I LIVED on sugar free popsicles for the 1st month out of surgery.  Even now in the summer, I eat a lot of them.  They are just like having crystal light.  As long as they are sugar free, they count as liquids so enjoy!!!

Keep up the great work!! You're doing fine!

I'm another one for whom SF popsicles were an absolute god-send those first months.  Enjoy them!

As for the issue of night time appetite, start thinking now about what else you can do at night instead of eating...and triggering activities.  Like television...if you habitually have eaten without thinking whenever you watched tv, figure out what shows you're going to start dropping.  This will become easier as you feel fitter and have more choices about how to spend your time (a long bike ride instead of must-see-tv!).

Day by day, that's how you learn to do this.  Small steps add up.  This is the time to begin changing your patterns and habits.

All the best!

The SF ice pops aren't the problem....the action however, is.  As you get further out you will have more options of what to eat...and more time than not as you get further and further out, I can bet you won't be choosing the sf ice pops.

I agree with the post about figuring out what else you can do instead of what you normally do during that time of the day when you begin to mindlessly eat.  It is head hunger and can be soooo detrminetal.  Completely changing your routine can help change the trigger of "I normally eat now"

Good luck!
