***Wild Wednesday Roll Call***
Hello, Friends (it's just so nice to be able to say that and MEAN it... you guys have become so important to me - THANK YOU).
Got my butt out of bed and to the gym this morning, late again, but oh well. I've resigned myself to a few more weeks (at least) of the hibernation effect and runnign late in the mornings no matter what I do. It really doesn't matter if I'm a few minutes late to work - I work late anyway and do work at home - they get way more than the official 37.5 hours I owe them for my salary in a typical week - haha.
Will hopefully be a quiet and productive day at work. I do have to call Home Depot and try and figure out the issues with the kitchen window warranty (long story), and then tonight will run down there or to Lowes to order the window so it's here in time to be put in at the "logical" point in the kitchen rebuilding process. But another expense that I hadn't counted on (but is necessary) - and I'm annoyed because the need for replacement is due to something the initial contractor failed to do (hence the discussion with Home Depot) which "voided" the warranty on the window - but the mfr is giving me a 50% discount on the price of replacing the window, so that helps.
I'm trying something new in the crockpot today - got a split turkey breast, tossed it in with a bunch of veggies, spices, and stock and am letting it simmer all day to make a turkey veggie "soup" (will shred the turkey tonight and remove the bones (that's the one part I'm not sure about - getting all the bones out! haha). Just wanted something different. I'll let you know how it turns out.
I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Morning PA!
Got a later start this morning than what I had hoped to. I'm trying to really get myself back on a schedule of getting up at 6 or 6:30 as if I had to go to work... but knowing that I don't just yet, makes it basically impossible to get my butt out of bed. I guess those first few half days back, a nap in the afternoon might just be what's needed.
Now that I've been up and about for awhile with breakfast done, I'm going to go hit the treadmill and then tackle working from home. I never thought working from home would be such a challenge for me. When I'm at work I go non-stop! And half the time I get home from work and keep working. But having been out of the loop for awhile, I just keep finding other things to do (laundry, dishes, etc). Today I promised myself that I will at least work for 4 hours from home.
Tonight Ryan has class, so I'm going to go meet up with one of my students from Millersville and have tea at this little place she likes. She's grown up so much in the last couple of years, that I can't wait to catch up with her.
Have a great day everyone!
