Xpost Back in the hospital
I have to have surgery again. It seems that I have to much scar tissue where they tacked my intestines behind my colon. It is causing everythign to be blocked closed. I have been here since Friday after not being able to keep food or water down for a week. UGH I am so stressed and scared. Anyone go through this?

It sounds like you are talking about adhesions from scar tissue? Fairly common.
I had a bowel obstruction, not related to adhesions, about 9 mos after surgery. Fortunately for me (and I don't mean to sound like this is rubbing it in your face) mine resolved spontaneously, which meant no further surgery for me at that time. Of course, it leaves the door open to more obstructions, and a higher risk of further adhesion related obstructions with any other abdominal surgery. Considering hubby and I are trying to conceive, and my maternal history suggests c sections, this is of great concern for me.
Anyway - hope you feel better soon. Hopefully the surgery to get rid of the adhesions will help.
