Had the surgery on the 12th. Spent a couple days thinking "what did I do?". I had several days of nausea and dry heaves and couldn't take any pain meds. After being given compazine for a few days I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am 10 days post op today and I know I can do this everyday is getting better.
Thanks to those who sent well wishes and luck!

I'm sorry you had a rough time.  Glad you seem to be feeling better though!!!  I had a few days of buyer's remorse in the beginning, but not anymore.  And you're right---each day does get better!!  Keep walking and sipping!!  Welcome to the loser's bench!!

Glad you're abot to see the light at the end of the tunnel - this is when the fun starts!  You'll soon (if you're not yet) be able to see the concrete results when you take your measurements and get on your scale.

Good going so far!

Everyone's beginning is different. But I am so happy you could see the positive much sommer than others. It truly is a blessing. It just takes time and adjustment to get through the beginning.

Good luck and happy for you.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Sorry to hear you had such a rough start - could have been the anesthesia making you sick? But hopefully that's all behind you now and you can begin your 'new' life!! Congratulations on your surgery - take care of yourself and get plenty of rest and fluids...the rest will come in time.
