Good morning all i am about a year out,and have done very well this past monday i had to have a hernia repaired i am depressed because i can,t go to the gym for a while is this hernia thing normal for wls.
Hernias are possible with any abdominal surgery. Glad to hear that you are recovering well
Did you ever think that you'd hear "I'm depressed because I can't go to the gym" come out of your mouth pre-op??? You'll be back in the saddle again before you know it! I am sure that you can still walk.
I dont know that it is normal for WLS patients but it is common for abdominal surgeries. I am sorry you cannot get to the gym but I hope you recover fast and with minimal issues
