FIT FIT FRIDAY
HG - I love the thought of self-control as exercise - and i'll bet it burns a lot of calories in certain situations!
I got to the gym this morning, but it was a real chore. Spent time with the elliptical, but the muscles burned the entire time and I never got to that great limber, warm, exhausted feeling. Sigh. Followed up with some weights. Just wasn't a great workout in a lot of ways.
However, I DID schedule my first personal training session for Sunday morning, so that may help me figure out why my workouts lately haven't been giving me the best feeling or results.

I just did an arm workout with my hand weights. I'm also amazed at the upper body workout I get from being on crutches, and the ab workout from sitting halfway up in bed when I need to take a sip of something. I am amazed at how easy my recovery from this surgery has been, and I know a big part of that is because of my dedication to exercise.
went to Bounce U tonight with our friends. We were all having a blast. Every one of us was in the bouncy things going all over the place. I bounced, I put on the boxing gear, I climbed an inflatable rock wall and slid down the other side, I climbed an inflatable ladder thing to slide down a slide and I played tug of war with my daughter in an inflatable thing. I think the best part were the slides and just the one time when all of were together in the one bouncy thing just jumping up and down. We were all exhausted when we were done!! Great cardio (AND MOOD) boost!!
