Woo-hoo!  I got through my first "back to basics " day!  Got all my meds, vitamins, and supplements in.  I need to get more water in, but I did increase my intake a lot yesterday.  And I stuck to the protein, no carbs, which was my goal for yesterday.

Too much pain for any exercise yesterday and it's pretty extreme today, but I'll take the opportunity if it arises...

Just had my first protein shake.  Planning tuna steak for dinner.  In between, more protein via shakes, bars, lean sliced ham, edamame.

I am two days post-op from my foot surgery and finally able to sit up long enough to get on my laptop!  I had just been using my phone for internet, which doesn't play nicely with OH.  Here is the plan for today:

B: hot chocolate Max Protein
S: Jarlsberg cheese
L: chicken thighs simmered in diced tomatoes
S: hardboiled egg
D: Flounder somehow
S: ricotta with SF caramel syrup

And maybe a latte in there somewhere too.

Thanks, Karen! I'm feeling better, although the pain is still bad at times.  Now that I can use my laptop again I'll be back on the boards.
