Thursday Roll Call
Good morning all! Nothing planned for today, other than we have Paul's son tonight for visitation. I went to the CareerLink office yesterday to learn about getting money for school. Total waste of time. We were told the money has been "paused" and they don't know when or if it will start again. They won't even give me a list of schools or any other info until I attend a seminar on Feb 11, and then I get put on a waiting list. This is for the birds, so we're going to look into other funding sources to see what's out there. Have a great day, everyone!!!

If weather.com is correct, it looks like we may miss the crappy weather. Safe travels to those that get it.
Today has me at work til 3:00 and then I head to another site for a late meeting at 3:30. After that, I'll stop at my old part-time job to pick up my W-2 and head on home to make dinner and relax. Tonight is a skip night for the gym - I'll go back tomorrow night.
That's about it for me today.

Good morning all.
I'm at work now and not much going on. Hopefully not too much snow in the morning since I drive my kids to school then.
Working till 5 today and then going out to dinner with an old friend who I haven't seen in a while and I'm going to enjoy my dinner because tomorrow starts my 4 day pre-op liquid diet--woo hoo!!
After dinner its home to watch Grey's and play some Wii with my kids and then bed. Pretty normal day for me.
Hope everyone else has a good day today! Will check in with you all again tomorrow or maybe today at lunchtime!

Well at least I checked in earlier than yesterday, lol
Got out of work from yet another crazy night. I'm telling you....I don't mind being busy...but this is getting ridiculous! It didn't help that I was FAMISHED all night. It wasn't stress or head hunger...it was absolute tummy hunger. I ate everything I packed PLUS some. I don't like feeling like that! I made *mostly* healthy choices - but will admit in an indulgence of french fries because....well....because I was out of food and a co worker got some and didn't finish them.
Anyway - I've done a lot so far this am. I went to the store for a few items, came home, put it away, packed food for tonight, baked a batch of sf pumpkin/pecan muffins, folded a load of laundry, put another one in the washer, talked to hubby, got work stuff settled for tonight.
For some reason I am faaaaar from tired. Hopefully I'll slow down a little bit - take a nice warm shower maybe watch a little tv and then head to bed by 11 or so.
Get to "sleep in" till about 6/6:30 tonight. Leaving for jersey for a 9p-6a shift and then back home. Tomorrow starts two days off for me, thank goodness!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Hello all.....
Checking in late today. Had my first English class for this semester bright and early this morning. I just love the teacher, I had her last time. Then I came home to work on some things from yesterdays classes, and will make lunch soon.
This evening will be running errands for a little then home to hang out and relax. Hope everyone has a great day!

Aftermoon everyone hope this finds you well! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad weather I don't want it it can stay away!!!!!
Let see today had me doing breakfast this am with nana round 10am sat their for an hour with her and some of her friends them went to the hospital to get blood work only to find out I lost the paper work had to call the doc's office to get it again. I will have to pick that up before I go off to work today will get it done tomorrow. them came home since it's so nice out I skipped the gym yes I'm staring to feeel like exercising again my depression meds are starting ot help me whole lot to feel like me again and be on the boards as well. I skipped the gym and went for walk and I took along 5 lbs weights and did some arm exercises while I walked which also worked some of my back mussles. that took me about 30 min. come home but the rest of my wash away but in stead of placed it on my bed I place the basket on the dinning room table and walked from the closet in my room to the talbe to get my clothing to hang my scrubs up my bed room is right next to the dinning room hey every step counts right!!!!! so them got shower and ready for work I realixed that I can almost wearm my greys amt scrub top it's made smaller it's not true xl also noticed today my betty boop scrub top fits me better now as well.
The rest of today has me working 3-11 oh and the state is at the nursing home today so everyone is beging super careful today I can't wait till they leave that is for sure.
