Thursday Roll Call
I'm at work - hubby is home the next 2 days because work is slow, but that's fine. I wish he could retire but that's just not possible financially or emotionally - he'd be home ALL day with my mom and that would NOT work. So he's working 3 or 4 days a week - plus it keeps his mind active and he hasn't become a total couch potato.
Tonight taking mom to get her hair done - guess I'll run over and get my nails done since she's getting color and that takes longer. Plus it keeps me out of Marshalls/Home Goods (a very bad place for me - LOL).
Other than that not much new going on here. Liz, saw your baby bump pic the other day - you look wonderful!!
Went to the doctor yesterday about the bruising and he ordered all kinds of blood work.. he said it could be from all my scratching, but better safe than sorry. So, Saturday morning, I will go to the lab since it is fasting. CBC, complete metabolic panel, PT, PTT and thyroid. I have to find my orders from the surgeon, but I'm sure this will cover me for my year visit with him. If there is anything else on his, I'll have that done at the same time and have the results sent to both docs, as well as myself. So, by next week, I should have some answers.
So, work til 3:30
therapy appt at 4:15
pick up the girls from dance at 5:45
I don't think I'm doing bingo tonight because I think there are still exams for the babysitter, so I will probably go to the gym for pilates class
My life has become so routine..
Hopefully you will have a great day. I will be home most of the day since we are down to one car. I have a few errands to run this morning. I will probably make another hat out of my leftover yarn. I am in the mood. I seem to be in a hat making rut.
I think PA should have their own conference. I think it would be fun.
I'm not at work yet, but I will be in an hour or so. I am subbing for a colleague and making sure his classes run smoothly and don't get behind while he is in Rotterdam on business.
So I work from 10-2:15, then home to go for my walk, work out, then run the cleaner, dust and finish up laundry this evening. My daughter has dance from 4:30-6, then it will be homework, an easy dinner (shrimp and tossed salad) and hopefully early bed.
I am still recovering from a wonderful weekend in Erie with all my friends from college and I am whooped. Plus, I am fairly certain I had a touch of the tummy bug because food still isn't liking me much and I am a bit out of sorts.
I hope you all have a wonderful day...and Kathy, I do NOT envy you that drive up 202 in the mornings! :-)
So here is my day - wor****il 3:15, possibly run to catch Josh in a swim meet against Central HS, back home to grab some food, then back out to meet other educators while we catch a bus and head down to Temple University. It is going to be one CRAZY day.
I hope you all have a nice Thursday! :)
Then...gym, pack, final preparation for a work presentation tomorrow, and bed!
Why does going to bed sound so good about now?
As for the weather - from someone who KNOWS winter, having been raised in Michigan, an inch is no cause for doom. Two inches is no cause for doom. When you hit 8-10, you can start paying attention.
