Total Wow!!!!
I went to the yearly installation of officers luncheon of my favorite charity organization. This was a charity that my Mother got me into so most of the members in the chapter are in there late 60's and older. They haven't seen me for year, my weight hasn't changed that much but there has been some tweaking. First there is the compression garment, then there is the latest batch of dental appointments, and lastly is better taste in clothing (my opinion). So the comments were OMG, what are you a size 0? I had to laugh, I am far from it, but when you compare me now to before I guess you could draw that conclusion. These last few months have been the sweetest in my journey so far.
Congrats Nan on your WOW moment and I think it pretty cool that at over 3 years out, you are feeling that this has been one of the sweetest points in your journey. . . you certainly are the "never give up" lady and I admire that aspect of yours!
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
