Saw Dr Brader today. My labs are perfect. He said that I am in the place where people often have rebound weight gain and that it is reversable if I get alot more controlled. Even an extra 200 calories per day can cause weight gain because our body has become so efficient at storing fat and energy due to the surgery. So i have a plan in place. He was not too hard on me. I have still lost 68% of my excess weight.

The professional meeting with them went alright. We will see what happens with it.

Hope you all had a good day today. I you are looking for any good books to read to help with your journey. Martha Beck has some good books. She is a life coach i think. Anyway she is good

GREAT news about the labs - I am a little scared to get mine back. I see him next week.

THanks for the advice on the books. I think that we need a "how to live life post op and stay sane" book in the future written by Nicole :)

Glad things went well with Dr. Brader.  You have a plan in place so you are taking the right steps to try to lose the little bit of excess that you have.  68% of your excess weight is nothing to get upset about.  That is awesome!!

congrats on the labs.   (I can only hope mine will be that way).  I hope the pro meeting turns out great for you.

And I agree with Liz... where is that lesson's learned book?

Congrats, Nicole - that's great news on all fronts!

And I "third" (or is it fourth, now?) Liz's suggestion about the book!

Glad your labs are so good. That is always my biggest concern. So glad to hear that your checkup went well. You will get where you want to be I am sure. Just look how far you have come.
