Sunday Roll Call
I was sooooo tired after Friday nights shift I stopped at the store on the way home for a few absolute items, packed my food, took a hot shower, and went to bed. I slept soooo good though, which is nice! Never even turned my computer ON!
Anyway - came back to the zoo on Saturday night. We just haven't been able catch a break all week. I can't believe how busy we have been! As I type this I am in an area of the ER that is supposed to close by 11. Not only did we still have patients here at 11...there were brand new ones put in here after midnight. Not a good sign.
Finishing up the shift here...and headed home. Will probably be more of the same for me...home, pack up my food, shower, and bed. I have two more nights of the insanity, on a holiday weekend....not promising to be easy!
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Pam, my son is a paramedic and has done some trauma center/ER rotations....crazy times. You've got to be cut out for it, for sure.
I'm out the door in a minute to get to church early. Home, lunch, hopefully a little down time, then out with hubby to do a few things this afternoon.
Gotta remember - set the DVR for 24!
No work tomorrow, so I am promising to get a few areas of the house organized! Promise! I would have done it last night but we had our daughter from Harrisburg stop over for dinner with her new flame. (Does anybody say "flame" any more? Anyway, this guy she's seeing - both have been separated for a long time, and they are planning to rent a house together in 2010....but what's the protocol for parents to ask, "Hey have you guys actually filed for divorces yet?")
Lynn,
Love your avatar!

I'm still working on finalizing all my homework for two classes. Yesterday I completed the online question and answers. I started my final paper for one class. Had to step away and come back this morning. It was pretty bad so I've been on the computer since 7am re-working that paper. I have one more section to complete than it is off to my prof. That will leave me with one final paper to write for submission by midnight tomorrow. Thankful for a holiday tomorrow.
Gene is still working on Part III of his dissertation. Today and tomorrow are it for his writing, he also needs to submit by midnight tomorrow.
Sometime today I really do have to get to the grocery store to purchase some food to actually cook. Gene is a God send, I'm not cooking, he's not complaining, he is an awesome hubby.
I also have to get those boots that don't fit back to Boscov's. I hope I can fit that in this afternoon or maybe first thing tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great day....

Today has me cleaning my basement up and trying to organized so I can finish decorating my living room (after 6 months of remodeling). I need to finish this so I can get to my treadmill and start using it again.
I hope everyone has a great day and back to the grind tomorrow!

So far a lazy morning. Read the paper while sipping on my warm protein shake --- a routine I just love. I'm about to go color my hair --- getting ready for my cruise next week (Jan 22-31). Doing Laundry, packing, other stuff around the house. I don't think I'll get myself out of the house, its supposed to get nasty.
Later I'll watch the Flyers.
Have a good day.

Cats woke me up this am. So i have been lolly gagging. Starting to stress about my business meeting with Dr B, as well as my follow up meeting with him tomorrow. Ugh. He wont like the numbers.
I am heading to exton area to have lunch with my best friend who I have not seen since before thanksgiving. Hoping the rain will not make it too miserable.
have a good day and stay safe
