**MLK Monday Roll Call**
Well, for one night this weekend we had a GREAT night at work. Good staff, decent patient flow - enough to make the time pass but not enough to make you pull your hair out.
On top of it all....I have no errands to run on the way home, and hopefully because of the holiday traffic won't be all that bad...I'm hoping to be in the door by about 7:35 or so.
Pack my food...shower....bed! Exciting, huh?
The ONLY downside is that I do have to go back to work tonight. Monday night is traditionally the busiest night in the ER....and the first and last day of a holiday weekend is ALSO generally known as really bad nights....so we have a double whammy tonight. Normally I wouldn't mind...but being my 5th night....I'm less than thrilled.
But, again on the bright side - I have great staff members on again tonight - a lot of friends - and I have off tomorrow with plans to see a good friend of mine :)
Stay warm and dry - the rain seems to have brought back some cold weather on top of the dampness.

I had a good weekend, nothing special, just kind of did what needed doing. Unfortunately, today is a regular work day for me :( I'd rather be home doing stuff around here, but it will have to wait until next month, when I have President's day off, as the weekends are just too short to get everything done.
Anyway, I'm going to get off here in a few moments and get ready for work, which entails packing my food for the week and getting my gym clothes in the car.

Not much to get done today. I'm getting ready to get some oatmeal cooked, then off to the gym, grocery shopping, then home to get a shower and meet my daughter @ the Deptford Mall in NJ at noon to FINALLY return these boots I bought online from Boscov's. I'm looking forward to spending time this afternoon with my daughter
After the mall home to make dinner, check and see if Gene is done his dissertation and re-read if he needs me to. I read his first draft last night it is so interesting...

Kicking back for a few minutes this morning...finished a book I"d been reading (South of Broad by Pat Conroy).
Then to the gym.
Then some lunch, and clearing up a few loose ends on jobs around the house. I'll be packing for a long weekend coming up in Florida with my sister.
Looks like a beautiful day outside! I can get spoiled by anything over 45 degrees.
Anyway - Headed to the dentist this afternoon for a 90 minute appintment - the follow-up to my root canal and tooth replacement or whatever it is that he has to do - then I am home for the duration of the day. I hope that I am tutoring this afternoon and then another shipment of 75 cases of cookies coming in. Larry is back to work tonight, so we shall see what the rest of the day brings!

Today I am off work but I have a lot going on. I have my 3 year plus post op appt with Dr B. Kind of stressed as I have gained a little back. I know why, and it is not that big of a deal really, but I do not want to dissappoint him. I am looking forward to seeing the NUT so I can get a few new ideas.
I also have a professional meeting with him and his staff today to discuss how to collaborate with one another better regarding my practice and their patients. Will be stressful but needs to happen.
Thank God after that I have a facial scheduled. I will need it.

Today has me doing nothing.. nothing at all.. I have really enjoyed the past few days, minus the "argument" I had with my FORMER friend yesterday.
Okay, so not absolutely nothing. I will make some food for the week and I am going to the gym later for spin class.
I also have to call a car dealer I was supposed to go to today and cancel my appointment since I bought the car.. oh, speaking of cars, I found out yesterday that my ex husband bought a new car.. and for some reason managed to get a 2009 Honda Civic.. WTH? Very weird that he ended up with the same kind of car that I have.. kind of freaky. I wonder what's up with that. Of course my old neighbor from the house told me and she thinks he is spying on me somehow. She is usually overly paranoid,but I think she might be right this time. So, I blocked him on facebook and changed all my passwords. Oy, I should not have to deal with this. He wasn't like this when we were together. It may just be a coincidence because he is working in New Jersey and has an hour commute now, so he probably just traded in his van for better gas mileage. But, it's still weird, and I'm not taking a chance.
Anyway, trying to think calm, relaxing things today so I can start work tomorrow on a positive note.
