i get to hang out with Beth, but we have to hang outside, and talk people into buying Girl Scout cookies.  Beth even gets to cart them around!

Life sucks!  But it's all worth it for the Girl Scouts.  I did by 2 boxes yesterday, but, they were ones that I don't care for.  Hubby and 2 teenage boys will make short work of them.

Steffi, I was a cookie mom too! Careful - after that I became a Cadette leader - figured a lot of moms wanted to work with the girls when they were Brownie age, but not everybody would step up for the middle school years...

Anyway, I still buy thin mints every year and freeze them, then gift wrap a box for a gift for each of my kids. Difference this year is that I won't also buy a few boxes for me.

Steve I so feel your pain Heather is a scout and I have sold alot of boxes for her at physical therapy and friends and used to OD on the thin mints but however I am not even tempted to have any which is a plus.  Steff brave woman you must be to have those by the zillion in your house!  If girl scout cookies is the most important thing we miss out on I can handle that one.  But Steve I do feel your pain.  However the lemonaid ones look interesting but nope I am not even gonna try it.

Yup  - I'm sitting here with over 100 boxes next to me while I type this. My daugter had high sales for her troop last year but this year she's lost her ace-in-the-hole.

Peanut butter patties - the numbers don't look _too_ bad for 1 serving, but, who can stop with just 2 cookies!  Nope - just gonna ignore them till they go away!

I know several GS cookie pushers.. they all know that I bought them last year... but are also aware.. I won't be buying them this year.  I'll let someone else have that pleasure.. I'll replace that loss with a poundage loss.  :-)

...and they're so  cute and sweet.  I want to buy ANYTHING fromkids who are cute, kind, and trying to make a buck.   Good thing I didn't have cash on me today when I saw them.

I couldn't be the cookie mom. that was one of the main reasons I was fat. I had such an addiction I wrote a paper called 'Death by Girl Scout Cookie'
in my english class last year. I LOVE them. It's going to be hard but at last another mom is being the cookie mom...there is no way I could have done it...and survived.
5'9 and a size 6...I love my tool.

I apparantly get it for the next 4 months.  The cookies from LVH just arrived recently and everyone has boxes out "to share" and in jersey, the orders are just being taken...so they will be out and around.

I bought some from my friends in Jersey.  Mostly for hubby.  I can't say I won't have two cookies, but I will wait until they are the LAST two so I'm not tempted any further.
