I am at wor****il 4. Then a run to Michaels and home to finish getting things ready to go to my Grandmother's this weekend. I won't be around until monday afternoon sometime so don't worry about me! You can always text if you need me :)

Liz, I know - 45 will feel like spring!

Working today, then the gym. Hoping to clean up the last of the pile of Christmas wrapping downstairs and get that tucked away for another year. Mike will be home late but said he wants to go out and do something this weekend, so I may check movie times. We thought of going last weekend, but didn't manage to do that.

Thrilling, I know. But sometimes the real pleasure is in  the lack of plans.

I am sooo jeaous with your lack of plans - my weekend is filled with running and doing - and only two of those things are for me!  UGH!!!!

Good morning everyone !

Happy Friday !

Today has me at wor****il 3:30.  After work, I'll take care of a couple of errands and then head home to make dinner.

This evening, I'm going to see my 12 year old cousin in a play at his church.  He's been in quite a few things and I never got around to going to any of them.  Well, at Christmas dinner he had printed out slips with the show info. and handed them out to everyone.  Since he went to the trouble to make up invites and pass them out, I thought it would be nice if we went.  My Mom is going to go along with me.  I tried to talk my boyfriend into going and he said no way.  He figures that he might burst into flames if he steps into church...haha.....  I'll just tack this event on to a couple of others that I have left him off the hook for recently.  Paybacks !!!  I know there will be a nice chick flick coming to the movies one of these days - I'll remind him and then he is going with me !

I was told at work that "leap year" was actually a very good, funny, romantic comedy chick flick.  Maybe you could get your paybacks sooner than later!

Good morning everyone - I'm at work and even tho its going to be warmer today its still cold in here so my little space heater is cranking away under my desk. Nobody here but me yet - will be a small group today anyway, so it should be a good Friday.

Hubby and I are FINALLY getting a weekend away, but of course not without some drama to go along with it. I called my nephew asking him to come stay with my mom so we could go away - now this nephew is 37 years old - totally supported by his mother (who lives in FLA) - but he lives close to us so I've been picking him up every 2 weeks and bringing him to my house so he could do his laundry, feeding him, running him for appts, etc. and never asked for anything in return. Now that he has a girlfriend he goes to her house to do his laundry. Of course he calls me back yesterday and has several excuses as to why he couldn't come over this weekend - first one being that its the football play-offs?! The second one is his gf doesn't have her kids this weekend so they were going to spend some time, and Sunday he has to report for a 12 hour DUI class. OK - I get the class thing - but come on - football play-offs??!! I finally got so annoyed at him on the phone that I said BYE and hung up on him. He tried calling me back twice but I refused to answer the phone because I was so frustrated and upset. He ended up calling the house and telling my mother he would come over for the weekend. So I have to call him today to see if he needs a ride or something - and when he does come stay with my mom (and the dog) I pay him quite well to take care of the dog walking duties - mom takes care of everything else.

So anyway, we are really looking forward to getting away for 2 days with our friends and just blowing off some steam and relaxing.

Hope everybody else has a good weekend! I am off Monday for MLK Day but mom has a dr's appt with the oncologist so I'll still be busy - its always something...

Good morning everyone and PA it is getting "a little warmer" as far as temperature but its still yuck to me.  I am still doing physical therapy four times a week it may as well be my job.  Kathy its a shame we don't live near each other as I am a pet-sitter seriously I do pet sitting for lots of clients they leave me their homes and pets and away they go and when they get back they thank me and life goes on.  I personally wouldn't be so giving to him after this experience. Give him a taste of his own medicine.  I hope you and hubby have a great time getting away.  Liz have fun this weekend.  As for me I am going to try and find things to do around here.  Have a great day everyone.

I have absolutely nothing planned for today.  Feels good!  I'm getting on the treadmill in a few minutes but may take advantage of the weather and go out for a walk with Paul later today.  I've been fighting a sinus infection or something, so I'll probably rest later.
