OMG! OMG!
Congratulations!!! The time will really fly by in the next few weeks. Do everything you can NOW to start prepping - start walking, cut down/out sugar and refined carbs, drink lots of water, get lots of rest. The more you can do beforehand, the easier the surgical experience and your recovery will be.

I had been walking this past summer and fall, but living in the Great White North, its not the easiest to get out and walk during the winter months. I did however find a gym, well actually its a physical therapy facility, but they are offering gym type memberships. I have also been gradually cutting out my caffiene. Tomorrow will be my first full day without it( Lord help those around me). I never gave a thought to the refined carbs. Thanks for that info.
I still have a 3 appointments that I have to do before surgery. They are for the nutrtionist, to have one final test done (EGD) and I have to go sign the surgery consent forms. Plus I have a few other appointments that are not related to my surgery, so that should keep me busy. I'll keep everyone posted...
